Hi all,
Not sure if anyone didn't get the e-mail but Nicky Davis is the module leader for NP3.
Also wanted to say thanks to all for participation during the WBLD's during this placement - I for one have really enjoyed attending them and despite getting whacked in the face with a stick, it's been really nice just to have a laugh during some of the group activities we've done!

Hi Craig / All
Glad WBLDs are going a bit better ......
Below is a quote from the Adult Nursing newsletter sent to my UWE account - "Nicky Davies has now taken over from Jenny Child as year 3 practice module leader and she will be contacting you with information for your Professional development week in which the basic life support for year 3 will now take place. In addition the Transition Week programme and the final conference which will be delivered in collaboration with GDP Tutors and the wider Programme Team on Friday December 9th on your site"
1. What does Sue Yates mean by the professional development week? Have I missed something Very Important? When is this? 2. Transition Week programme - delivered "on your site" - any ideas/ translation of meaning? When is that? May be December??
Have I totally lost the plot? I seem to be having a lot of trouble understanding what people mean these days ...... dementia may be setting in.
Good luck everyone for Mid Points next week.
Jessica x

I spoke to Avril the other day and she was told at WBLD that skills had been cancelled for that week, so we would be having some sort of lecture instead (due to cuts)??

Are these the workshops that were supposed to run? Shame, there were some that I really wanted to go to there...
