Hi, Could someone possibly show me how to reference Polit and Beck. I'm not sure exactly what should be in there.
Thank you
Ally xx

My guess would be;
Polit, D and Beck, C (2006) Essentials of Nursing Research, Methods, Appraisal, and Utilization, Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, Philadelphia.
That is if you are using the same Polit and Beck book that I am!

Hi there - Be careful to put in which edition you are using. This is the reference I have in my list:
"Polit, D. F., and Beck, C. T. (2010) Essentials of Nursing Research - Appraising Evidence for Nursing Practice. 7th ed. Philadelphia: Wolters Kluwer Health ¦Lippincott Williams & Wilkins".
Not sure if it shows on this site, but the title of the book should be in italics.

Gemma - you don't need to add chapter names for Polit & Beck as it's not an edited book. If you're using Gerrish & Lacey you do, because they didn't write the whole thing, each chapter is by a different author.
