A small tip - if like me you are having trouble fitting everything into the IP word count -
If you use a direct quote and have to put the page number after the year and the author, it may look like this - p [space] 107. If you leave out the space or put in a stop like "p.107" [or "p107"], you can save a word in your total.
How sad am I? But it could save you 4 or 5 words.

PS The more anal of you may be thinking that Harvard wouldn't like this, but the guidance I printed last year has examples of both formats, so I think we can do what we like! Also, have you looked in the Library referencing area lately - I would hate to have to learn referencing electronically as first years must have to. There, I really must go out.
